Dear end the siege on Gaza campaigners,

The Collectif Urgence Palestine - Geneva  ( www.urgencepalestine.ch ) has decided to actively support the campaign you launched. We already put a link to your webside on our homepage.

This next Thursday, at the coordinating meeting of the main NGOs active on the question of Palestine in Switzerland, we will propose active support of the campaign as one of our main common activities in Switzerland for these next months.

To present the campaign, i will rely on the informations on your website. If you have any new updates on your agenda, please let us know.

Among other proposals, we will suggest to organize a visit of members of swiss parlament to Gaza as a part of this campaign. Since we will probably not manage to organize this visit already at the end of this month with the european delegation of eccp, we would like to know when would be the best period for you, February 2008? March 2008?

In order to mobilize public support for the campaign, and hopefully participation tothe boat trip to Gaza in May 2008, we will organize public events in Switzerland. Please let us know if and when you have any representatives of the campaign who manage to travel to Europe for participating in such events.

Another idea we will try to implement, is to gather support from some of the city councils of swiss cities.
