Capitan John Klusmire is a Capitan of one of the free Gaza boat parties, in this statement he answered:

 

-         How does it feel now that you are here in Gaza?

-         It’s not over yet, our work has just begun, and our welcoming party was one of the happiest moments of my life.

 

-         Do you think this trip be repeated?

-         Yes, I sure hope so, this is very important issue.

 

-         How do you feel about this trip?

-         Well, it wasn’t easy but we have to work on raising the conscience through the media.

 

-         Do you think that the boat will be permitted to leave?

-         Yes, I don’t see why not, we will be leaving on Wednesday, one boat will sail & the other will stay.

 

-         Will this trip move & effect the peace movements in Israel?

-         Yes, I hope so, especially the youth energy in the Israeli nation & through various peace movements.

 

-         What do you hope to accomplish by sailing to Gaza & doing this trip?

-         We are just a small dent in the world & we need for the people of the world to see & hear our message.

 

-         Once you reach Cyprus, what do you think will happen?

-         I really hope that this trip can become a profitable movement that includes people’s transportation, students, medicine, and modest trade between Cyprus & Gaza.
